It feels like a place from a fairy tale.

After visiting the monastery, we take a look at the famous coastline. Paleokastritsa is known for its bright blue water, hidden caves, and rocky bays. The colors of the water here are so bright they almost look painted.

Amazing Views from Lakones and Bella Vista

The fun continues as we drive up to the mountain village of Lakones. This area is often called „Bella Vista“ (which means „Beautiful View“) because you can see all the bays of Paleokastritsa from high above. It is one of the best views you will ever see in Greece.

On our way back, we pass through the village of Makrades, where locals sell handmade items like olive wood carvings and dried herbs. We also cross Panteleimon Hill. If the sky is clear, you can see both the very north and the very south of Corfu at the same time!
